Christmas Carnival - 15th Dec 2012



Lexicon Kids, Kondhwa hosted its first Christmas carnival on 15th Dec 2012 at our school premises. We had 15 different stalls put up ranging from food, games, clothes and on the spot competition. The event began at 5pm and carried on till 9pm. The evening was very festive, filled with the spirit of Christmas. We had carol singing by our music teacher Mr. Martin. Children had a great time at on the spot completion. Most of the kids present, ages ranging from 2 to 7 years enrolled themselves for colouring, ramp walk and paper plate decoration competition. The winners were announced thereafter and were given certificates and prizes by our Vice-Chairman Mr. Neeraj Sharma.
Everyone tried their luck at Chocolate Wheel, Ring the object, Lucky dip and many others. The yummy food stalls had people flocking to them as bees to honey. The excitement and enthusiasm soared when Santa Claus made his entry. Children crowded onto him as he shook hands with all and distributed sweets.

Sports Day - 13th Dec 2012



Lexicon Kids, Kondhwa had its sports day on 13th Dec 2012. The morning was filled with chatter and excitement of kids as they lined up for their races. We had 3 races for each of the class starting with     Pre-Nursery: “Putting of ball in the basket” and “Hopping”. Nursery:  ‘Match the letters of the alphabet” , “putting of ball in the basket” and “Hopping”. LKG: “Balancing the book” , Dressing up for school” and “Complete the colours of the flag”.
The winners of each race will be accounced at our Annual Day on 1st Feb 2013.

Diwali and Children's Day Celebration -9th Nov '12



Diwali and children’s day was celebrated on 9th November ’12. Children came to school in fancy dress. They were all given a different theme to follow. We had fairies, Lord Krishna, tribal, Goan, Bengali, Kashmiri girls and our own Chacha Nehru. Children played passing the parcel after which they were given some snacks to eat. Towards the end, each child was given a red rose made out of paper and ice cream stick along with a bag of goodies to be taken home. Our Principal, Mrs. David, gave out ‘Thank you’ cards to each of the parents, for their efforts and sincerity in making their child look so adorable.



















Green Colour Day - 31st Oct '12



October 31st 2012 was green colour day at out school. We had charts put up on green colour. Children came dressed in green outfits. In tiffins, they got green vegetables with roti/ paratha. For their classroom activity, children were given green colour dough, which they were to roll out into chapatis with a rolling pin.
